FR/ Fruit d’un dialogue fécond entre Emmanuelle Luciani et Marion Mailaender, la fresque du hall d’entrée de Tuba est le statement d’une mythologisation du Marseille contemporain, tirant un trait d’union entre la roche calcaire sans âge de son littoral et un art de vivre du XXIe siècle.

L’oeuvre est un hommage pop aux peintures murales du monde méditerranéen, de la tombe du plongeur de Paestum jusqu’à Puvis de Chavanne.

EN/ The result of a fruitful dialogue between Emmanuelle Luciani and Marion Mailaender, the fresco in the entrance hall of Tuba is a statement of a mythologization of contemporary Marseille, drawing a link between the ageless limestone of its coastline and a 21st century art of living.

The work is a pop homage to the murals of the Mediterranean world, from the tomb of the diver of Paestum to Puvis de Chavanne.
