FR/ En prolongement d’ « History of Fantasy: Part II » (2023) et de « Drive to Survive » (2022), Emmanuelle Luciani et Southway Studio créent pour la Design Parade 2023 à Toulon une immersion totale parmi la sérié esthétique « Diesel Memories » de Bella Hunt & DDC et les oeuvres néo-romantiques de Jenna Kaës, installées sous les ombres acides de l’installation vidéo de Léa Porré et les ondes sonores futuristes de Moodoïd. En prolongement de NEW WORLD, a cyber-punk tribute, pour DIESEL MEMORIES, Southway Studio convie également Nico Plinio Lanteri et Nicolas Zanoni, artistes de l’agence VVORLD+.

À mi-chemin entre les contours acérés de pièces automobiles et les harnachements métalliques de la chevallerie de tournoi, « Diesel Memories » rend hommage aux fantasmes liés à la machine, à la voiture, à l’armure, et à tout un imaginaire rétro-futuriste de space opera.

EN / As an extension of « History of Fantasy: Part II » (2023) and « Drive to Survive » (2022), Emmanuelle Luciani and Southway Studio created for the Design Parade 2023 in Toulon, an experience of total immersion among Bella Hunt & DDC’s esthetic series « Diesel Memories » and Jenna Kaës’ neo-romantic artworks, installed under the acid shadows of Lea Porré’s video installation and Moodoïd’s futuristic sound-waves. As an extension to NEW WORLD, a cyber-punk tribute, for DIESEL MEMORIES, Southway Studio also invites Nico Plinio Lanteri and Nicolas Zanoni, artists from the VVORLD+ agency.

In between the sharp contours of automobile parts and the metallic harnesses of chevallerie tournaments, « Diesel Memories » pays homage to the fantasies linked to the machine, the car, the armour, and to a whole retro-futurist imaginary of space opera.
