Sergio Ruffato

FR / Sergio Ruffato est un artiste franco-américain né et élevé à Aix en Provence, en France. Il a obtenu son BFA en sculpture au Savannah College of Art and Design en 2012 avec une nomination pour le prix de l'International Sculpture Center Outstanding Student Achievement Award. Il passe aujourd’hui une partie de l'année à travailler dans un studio dirigé par sa famille à Marseille, en France, et l'autre partie à voyager et à exposer ses œuvres d'art aux États-Unis. Il a été sélectionné pour exposer au Salon national des Beaux-Arts au Carrousel du Louvre à Paris et a été invité à présenter ses sculptures à la Biennale de l'Union nationale des sculpteurs à Lyon. Il réalise également des commandes d'art public, dont un vase en laiton de 3 mètres de haut intitulé “Amphore”, installé dans la ville de Marseille : une étape majeure dans son parcours d'artiste qui confirme sa voie d'ambassadeur des arts entre la France et les États-Unis.

EN / Sergio Ruffato is a Franco-American artist born and raised in Aix en Provence, France. He received his BFA in sculpture from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012 with a nomination for the International Sculpture Center Outstanding Student Achievement Award. He now spends part of the year working in a studio run by his family in Marseille, France and the other part he spends traveling and exhibiting his artwork around the USA. He was selected to exhibit in the National Salon of Beaux Arts at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and was invited to display his sculptures at the Biennale of the National Union for Sculptors in Lyon. He also completed public art commissions, such as a 10 feet tall brass vase titled “Amphora” installed in the city of Marseille : a major stepping stone in his artist journey that confirms his path as an ambassador of the arts between France and the United States.
