Métamorphose is a domestic sculpture conceived by the italian-american duo Bella Hunt & Dante Di Calce. This stool combines animals and plants, terrestrial and aquatic symbols. The sculptural interprets Ovid's books, 'Metamorphoses' and the flood of Deucalion, "the earth has fallen away all round and sunk out of sight". Bella Hunt & Ddc draw their inspiration from ancient myths, a distant past and uncertain origins. With this sculpture, made of a table, a speaker and a stool, the duo delivers a synthesis of sculpture and decorative art. The "Métamorphoses" is a moving and flexible artist's salon, an expression of the organic thinking of Bella Hunt & Ddc.
